Mr. Jason Tan, LLB (Hons), LLM (International Banking & Finance Law), Associate Chartered Banker, is a Licensed Company Secretary under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). His legal education provides a solid foundation in corporate and financial law, while his recognition as an Associate Chartered Banker demonstrates his specialised knowledge in FATF regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and financial compliance. These qualifications complement each other, enabling Mr. Jason Tan to operate effectively at the intersection of law, governance, and financial regulation. This multidisciplinary expertise has been instrumental in his role as Head of Corporate Legal Counsel, particularly in managing complex cross-border matters across Commonwealth jurisdictions, including Singapore and Hong Kong, where he brings extensive legal and regulatory insight.
Mr. Jason Tan has been actively involved in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and due diligence exercises. His work spans corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and risk management for cross-border transactions throughout Southeast and East Asia.
